MASSAGE THERAPY

Massage therapy is the manipulation of soft tissues of the body including, muscles, connective tissues, tendons, ligaments and joints.

 

Massage therapy is a regulated health profession in Ontario and as such, massage therapy should be performed by a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).

 

The following is a list of different conditions/impairments that our Registered Massage Therapist has experience working with:

 

  • soft tissue injuries/impairments

  • joint impairments by using low-grade joint manipulations to the spine and joints 

  • pregnancy and high-risk pregnancy

  • cancer, breast-cancer, post-mastectomy, and breast implantations surgery

  • spinal cord rehabilitation, including working with paraplegic and quadriplegic patients 

  • multiple sclerosis 

  • general surgery post-op patients

  • scar work and manipulation post-surgery

  • headaches/TMJ

  • scoliosis (functional and structural)
